Purcell Room, 4/4/2012

We will be playing at the Purcell Room (South Bank Centre, London) on April 4th as support for Solus3’s audio-visual collaboration with award-winning pinhole photographer Jan Dunning.
We’re very excited about this one, it’s going to be a great night. Solus3’s recent album ‘Corner of the World’ has had great acclaim (including album of the week in The Independent and a 4 star review in the FT) and Jan Dunning‘s work is beautiful stuff.

Tickets are available now but be quick as a fair chunk have gone already…

The Wire

The Wire‘s website has inadvertently featured The Untied Knot in a news article about the upcoming second UK Independent Label Market.
In the far left of the picture you can  see a dashing Matt in nonchalant “open for business” mode, whilst I have been decapitated by a grinning slab of vinyl (oh, and there’s some bloke called Jarvis chatting to someone on the right). You can read about our guerilla appearance at the first Independent Label Day here and we still have copies of our beautifully packaged and very independent debut CD for sale here.

Chapter two

Work has begun on the second album. Looking forward to sharing the results with you in the near future. More info will follow…
In the meantime please take a listen to the lovely new Hummingbird album, “Suddenly, It’s Alright” which features our Matt on drums/perc.

Nigel.
